On the idea of the chair I pushed the “no increased functionality,” and the severity of classic armchairs for offices, fireplaces, etc. Set a goal to make the most functional (here I mean is to put a glass bottle / decanter and book / other) and lightweight (very important for public spaces). And of course no loss of prestige materials.
